John Seago FCCA
John has worked in public practice for almost 30 years, and manages a mixed portfolio of sole trades, partnerships, limited companies, audit and personal tax clients.
He also acts for a number of large international companies, overseeing their UK subsidiary operations.
Having joined the practice in 2003, along with Andy Stopps, John undertook the purchase of the practice from the founder partners in 2004.
John supports the red half of Merseyside, and still awaits the return of the glory years having grown up watching Dalglish, Souness and company!
John is married with two children.
Andy Stopps FCCA ATT
Like John, Andy has also worked in public practice for almost 30 years and has a similar portfolio mix as John and also specialises in charity accounts and audits.
Andy joined the practice in 2001, and completed the purchase of the practice with John in 2004.
Away from the office, Andy enjoys hockey, where he coaches Haverhill Ladies, and also umpires.
Being Suffolk born and bred, Andy had no choice but to follow Ipswich Town.
Andy is married with two children.
Michele Fayers FMAAT
Michele has worked in public practice for over 30 years, and has spent her entire professional career working in the same practice.
Michele works alongside John and Andy on a mixed portfolio of clients, working on the larger and more complex clients of the practice.
In her spare time Michele likes visiting antique fairs, restoring antique furniture, walking her dogs and watching her son play cricket.
David has worked in public practice for over 30 years and joined the practice in April 2014 following a short period in industry.
David also assists John and Andy with the practices larger and more complex clients.
David is married with two grown up children and is an avid supporter of Liverpool FC (also awaiting the return of the glory years!).
Rachel Hill MAAT
Rachel joined the practice in 2012 and undertakes accounts and VAT work. Rachel has completed her AAT qualification and is currently studying for the final stages of the ACCA examinations.
In her spare time Rachel enjoys the great outdoors and socialising with her friends and is also a keen swimmer.
Qing joined the practice in 2015, having spent two years working for another local practice and like Rachel is also studying for the final papers of the ACCA examinations.
Out of the office, Qing is a keen badminton player, which she enjoys with friends and family.
Will has recently joined the practice following a move from another firm of accountants. Having completed his AAT studies he will shortly be starting his ACCA qualification.
In his spare time Will enjoys cycling, fishing and canoeing and has recently taken part in the ‘Sudbury to Sea’ canoeing event. Will is also a newly converted cricket fan following England’s recent successes during the Summer.
Josh joined the practice in 2016, after completing his A Levels and is currently studying towards the AAT qualification.
Josh is involved with a mixed portfolio of sole trade, partnership and Limited company clients, predominantly concentrating on accounts preparation and VAT returns.
In his spare time Josh enjoys socialising with his friends and following Manchester United.
Liam joined the practice in August 2019, under the apprenticeship scheme, after completing his studies at school.
Liam is currently involved with accounts preparation work for sole trade, partnership and Limited company accounts clients.
Out of the office Liam likes to spend his spare time relaxing and socialising with his family and friends and helping out when time permits in his uncle’s garage.
Rachel began her career in the practice in the accounts department, but now specialises in providing payroll and CIS services to a diverse range of clients, through Seago and Stopps Payroll Solutions Limited.
Rachel has over sixteen years of payroll experience.
Outside of the office Rachel dedicates her time to fundraising for the Hope for Tomorrow charity and also enjoys gardening and walking.
Trina re-joined the practice in 2015, after taking a career break. Trina works alongside Rachel and Natasha Yeo carrying out payroll and CIS administration and reporting, and also covers much of the administration around Pension Auto Enrolment.
Trina also manages company secretarial matters for our corporate clients.
Outside of the office Trina is a keen fisherman and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
